The book of genesis
I think the book of genesis is not interesting, to me who do not believe in christ. The god in this story is just like “NvWa" in Chinese fairy tale who do the same thing- creates human. The difference is that "NvWa" use her body to mend the sky to protect human,but god eliminates human he create by his own hands. It's not thing about like or dislike. The story is very beautiful, the problem is that we have heard these story too many times that these story can not interest us any more. And as a Chinese, there are too many names which are difficult for me to remember in this story. It really makes me uncomfortable.

You are correct to point out that this is a very common story. And you should be identifying elements common to other tales. That is the point of the creation myth. Keep looking for other similarities.
回复删除Regarding interest: it can be difficult to garner curiosity for something we think we know everything about. But the intelligent mind can always find something to question and look into further. Keep looking.
